Cheers To The New Year

It's New Year's Eve {Day} and I am gathering my drink menu items to take to the New Year's Eve party that we are attending.  I figured it's the last time to mix my favorite "Holiday-ish" drinks since 2012 is approaching. One of my favorites that I plan to make is the Candy Cane Martini.  You can find this recipe here.  I hope that everyone has a fun and safe New Year's Eve.

1 1/4 ounces vanilla vodka
1 1/4 ounces white crème de cacao
3/4 ounce peppermint schnapps
Garnish: peppermint candy

Combine vanilla vodka, white creme de cacao, and peppermint schnapps in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with peppermint candy.
