Mini Gingersnap Milkshakes - Gluten Free

One of my favorite GF Shakes thus far!!

This is a great dessert option if you’re looking to switch things up a bit. It doesn’t matter how old you are, milkshakes freaking rock. ESPECIALLY if you’re like me and someone makes an awesome, creamy shake and there’s NO dairy or gluten. Life just got pretty amazing, didn’t it?!

                                                       Gingersnap Milkshakes, dairy-free & gluten-free
Ingredients
  • 1 cup coconut based vanilla ice cream, dairy-free
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 tablespoon molasses
Cookie Rim
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar
  • 10-15 small gluten-free gingersnap cookies, crumbled – either homemade or store bought – this or this.
Use two shallow dishes, small plates work – add the agave to one and the gingersnap crumbs to another.
Dip the rim of the glasses in the agave and then in the cookie crumbs.

Directions
Add all six ingredients into your blender and blend until ice is completely everything is blended into a smoothie.
Pour milkshake mixture into the cookie rimed glass(es) and ENJOY!

Makes 1 big glass or 2 small glasses
