Happy New Year

I always get excited about a New Year in store.  Not because I get to make cheesy New Year's Resolutions that most of us don't follow through with (am I right?) but because I get to set a new list of goals along with planning life/family events and trips. I love planning! 

 

This year is a BIG year for The Hightower's. Baby Hightower arrives in late April and my sister-in-law is tying the knot in June.  Those are just a few of the life events that we have coming up in the New Year. It's so exciting.

 

As for New Year's Eve plans, we're keeping it simple this year by just having a nice dinner with some friends and then spending New Year's Day with the family. 

Two words describe my thoughts on 2012: Fortunate & Blessed.
Just a few things to name of what I've been so thankful for in 2012: My Mom's continued health and her being cancer free, good health, my sweet boy, and the news of Douglas and I expecting.  2012 was a great year and I am looking forward to an exciting 2013.
