Bergen Taylor Hightower: Friday Surprises

I love Fridays...

Especially when I get to take the day off to sneak out and surprise my little guy at school for lunch! The smile on his face when he walks into the cafeteria and sees me standing there just melts my heart. His little cheeks turn red and his little lunch buddies grin and giggle at how he reacts to seeing me.

For 10 years now, Grant has melted my heart, made me smile on a cloudy day such as today and continues to make me a proud "Mum". When I say how much I truly feel blessed to have him in my life, I really mean it. He's such a good boy and continues to surprise me every day with his love, his manners, his obedience, his BIG heart and caring ways. With our little girl on the way come April, I've honestly wondered how I could have room to love her as much as I've loved my little guy. It's hard to explain but I know there will be another whole heart of love opened inside me when I see our little girl for the first time. And the fact of knowing that he's super excited to be a BIG brother and HELPER is such a good feeling to have. I cherish all these moments.
Even on simple days such as today!
