Dear Isla Rose,
Today, you turn one month old. How did that happen so fast?? It feels like yesterday that we welcomed you into our arms but at the same time, I feel like we've known you forever.
One month is such a big milestone (giggle) for you and for your mom and dad but I am more excited that you are starting to show more and more of your sweet personality. You love to lift your head up when you burp and you love to wiggle those cute toes while nursing. You let us know when you want to be turned on your back. You love to be naked. You are starting to become more alert and gaze into mom and dad's eyes when we hold you. Your umbilical cord fell off two weeks ago (such a cute button you have) which means we can give you a bath and you seem to already love the water. I love how you lay so peacefully against my chest at night during our sleepy time and I love the sweet "coos" you make while nursing. You love to be held and certainly do not like to be put down while sleeping....but that's ok with us, because we love holding you.
All in all, you are such a sweet baby girl. I love the time we spend cuddling and nursing has been such an amazing bonding experience. I know that you're only going to continue to grow and become more interactive, but I'm trying to take it all in now. I want to keep you little forever.
