She is Three

THREE

My sweet Isla Rose, I cannot believe you are three years old.  

You are full of life and your imagination is plentiful.  Every day I am in awe of your accomplishments and all that you shine at doing.  I feel so grateful to watch as this baby I once knew grow into a beautiful, sweet and silly little girl.

Memories flood my mind as I think about your first words, steps and other milestones.
Each day, it seems, I notice that you are growing and learning more and more.  I am excited to see what age three brings.

You are my shadow by day but you long to be in your Daddy's arms the moment he walks in the door from work. There's nothing he would not do for you.  If you asked for the sun he would do his very best to try and pull it down from the sky, just because you asked.

You have become quite independent at this age.  Learning, playing, singing, running, swimming and seeking new adventures on the daily. You love playing with play-doh, cars, school buses, watching (every little girls favorite movie) Frozen on repeat and helping me cook and clean. You love every kind of food and you are OBSESSED with ice cream.

We celebrate you every day but on your special day, we hope you are able to feel every ounce of love that surrounds you. Life will not always be perfect but I do know that life will always have magic in it if you train your eyes and memory to see it and always feel it.

You are a beautiful ray of sunshine and we love you always and forever.
