Halloween

Halloween was super laid back this year but the kids were just as excited as any other year.

We took the kids to a neighborhood nearby and it worked out perfect for them to go out to do some trick or treating.  We planned out our costumes but part of our whole family matching costumes did not arrive until the day after Halloween so we were not able to pull off the cute family halloween costumes.  I think Isla Rose (Snow White) and Douglas (Doc the Dwarf) looked so cute together and William was happy to wear his Spiderman costume.  I ended up throwing on some cat ears and painted up my face a little.

Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween.

Mother's Day

"A Mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world.  It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crashes down remorselessly all that stands in its path"

Mother's Day is such a special time to celebrate all things Motherhood and for me it's a time to say thank you to my children for choosing me to be their Mother.  I am so grateful for my children and all that they are.  I want them to know in the depth of their being  that I love them and I know in the deepest level of my heart and soul that they love me.

These children of mine have taught me so much.  Through the ups and downs, they love me unconditionally.  They see no flaws in me and they never give up on me which in return keeps me encouraged and inspired. They have opened my heart and made me realize all that my own mother did for my sister and I growing up.  There is no way of being a perfect Mother but I love my children with a perfect love and if there is one thing they can remember would be that I am doing the best that I know how to do and will always give them my all.  The greatest job I have had by far is being a mother to my three children.  And the other greatest is being a daughter to the BEST mother a daughter could ask for. For that, I a grateful dear Mother!!  Thank you and I love you.

I also want to thank my friend, Catrina of  C. Earls Photography for taking time out of her day to capture these special moments down at the horse farm.  It was seriously such a beautiful evening and one I know we will always remember.

Here are some of the photos she took that I wanted to share with you all.
Grant wasn't able to make it with his school schedule and because he just started drivers ed (cue the tears!!).
