A Blessing

The husband and I had an exciting day yesterday.  We got to see our little girl in a 3D Ultrasound. I was a bit nervous but more excited than anything...mainly because we have not seen her since December 12th.  It's crazy to think that unless it's medically necessary, most OBGYN practices will not do another ultrasound to look or check the baby.  I found that to be crazy news so my husband and I scheduled an ultrasound with an outside company that was recommended to us and it just so happens that they did 3D/4D ultrasounds.  The cost wasn't too bad and they spend about an hour or more with you, print the pictures and give you a DVD and CD of all that was captured.  We also found out while the screening was taking place that our little girl weighs about 5.5lbs., has lots of hair and looks as if I am about a 1.5 weeks ahead of my scheduled due date.  We are so glad we did it!  It gave us reassurance that we're still having a girl and everything looked good and healthy.
