I came across Nichole of Dear Heart Designs via Instagram shortly after Isla was born. I was obsessed with her work. What I love most about Nichole is her big heart and her love for the Lord. It shows through her hard work and dedication in making jewelry that is meant to create moments in which you can share your real and raw testimony with others while wearing it.
When working with Nichole on two custom pieces, she was open to the idea of a larger lyric necklace with one of my favorite sayings on it. It was a quote my husband and I saw years ago in the outer banks somewhere. Every time I wear this necklace, it reminds me of our many special trips to the beach together.
She also created this small disc necklace that has a special quote "walk in the light" written on it. It's a special quote she made for me shortly after Isla Rose was diagnosed with Leber's Congenital Amaurosis. It actually gives me a chance to open up and talk about my daughters diagnosis when I wear it. I truly love the meaning behind it.
