Beach weekend in Southport

Just wanted to share some photos from our quick little beach getaway. 

It was our six year anniversary last Sunday so it was a treat to get away and enjoy being together at the beach again.  It was a last minute decision to go but I am glad we did.  We stayed in Southport just to do something a little different than our normal beach spots.  The weather was nice but still very summer-like -- it was HOT ya'll!!  I am one that typically holds on to summer for as long as I can but this summer has been extreme in temperatures so I am kind of looking forward to cooler weather.

We have one more vacation at the beach coming up in October and we are super excited about that!
